Statistics are generated automanically
When you commentate a match, all statistics are generated for both teams, all participating players and competition results are updated.
With the play-by-play commentary thousands of statistics are generated such as: number of goals, decisive passes, number of minutes played, incidence of first goal, scoring zone, shot to goal ratio...
You can even choose to filter a statistics for a team or a player per competition and per season.
Anyone can contribute
Anyone can contribute to YouFoot using unique applications and tools. Contributions can quickly add to built a great football database.
For live commentary, any one can apply to commentate a match but only one commentaror is allowed during the live commentary and he is elected by the community. After a match is finished, people can collaboratively improve the match commentary to ensure that optimal accuracy especially.
Verify your account
Players, teams or events organizers can contact us to verify and claim their page. Verfied accounts are indicated and may grant some priviledges to the verified owner.
There are already thousands of player profiles. See if one of them is yours and simply claim it!
Your contributions are safe!
YouFoot allows anyone to make contributions. To keep your contribution safe, any changes are created a new version. This allows to easily roll back to an earlier version should errors be introduced by mistake or intentionally.
Occasionnally, we may also protect certain page from being modified. However, the general purpose is to remain open to contributions by everyone while ensuring contributions are safe.

YouFoot is built to be multilingual. 22 languages are currently available and being translated. Almost all content generated by the football community in YouFoot is generated in multiple languages. For instance a match commentaries generated by a French will be available in all languages.
